Hi, I am a new member. I am really surprised to see that guy,
Ivan, saying that Lex is very pretty. You sure that Lex is your so
called "chio". Come on, you exaggerate till like she is really
bloody "chio" and gives people the impression that you have never
seen pretty girls before. Who knows, she might be what I call, just
pass kind.
I can tell you that different people have different taste, and
sometimes, girls or women who my friends claimed to be high end
chio, I somehow feel, well, just average only what. But sometimes
when i saw someone who I deemed as pretty, my friends say, are you
sure, that can only be graded as slightly above average.
So conclusion is, never mentioned the word 'chio'. For most people
who thought that 'chio bu' means pretty girl, correction,
not hundred percent exactly. In actual Hokkien, it mean that the
girl is seductive or rather what people claimed as foxy(vixen)
type, vain. That is completely different from actual English of
pretty or Hokkien meaning of "siew". Pretty or 'siew' means good
looking with elegance.
Please do not get offended, as far as I know, from more adult
friends, they said that "chio-bu" normally refers to
err......
"chicken", I hope you people know what the "chicken" means.
So that's all, and once again, apology if I have offended you
people in anyway.=)
