my car TP is this coming mon..at SSDC. any1's also???
any precious golden advices and tips??

i need them desperately. my pte instructor kinda sucky thus getting many advices frm friends and pp in this forum.

btw, may i ask for the slope, b4 moving off, shld i signal? if yes, left or right?

and for parking. once u parked, i have to put to neutral, must i pull up handbrake? or just press brake. my instructor said no need, but my friend who was w ssdc, she was taught to pull up once parked.

and for only left turn, only right turn lane, must i still turn on signal. i always turn on but when i went into circuit, i see many students dont. i get confused. my instructor sometimes say yes, sometimes say no need..

i passed my TP for the military license luckily.

much stricter.

do u realise that u can juz do it despite the fact that ur instructor told u there's no need to?

ask urself this.

the things u wan to do..they ensure safety,do they not?

pulling of handbrake upon parking ensures the vehicle doesn't roll back or forward.and signalling in advance before turning,even if its a one-way turn,informs the rear vehicle drivers of the direction ur going.this is useful for motor-bike users,especially when they turn tgt,adjacent to u.

there's no harm going the extra mile for safety.

One word of advice, don't be kanchiong. Just go throught the test slowly and steadily. and Good luck.

slope...no need to signal...move off already then car goes down-slope...there should be a single white line at the bottom of the slope.stop before the line for instructions as to turn left or right.

parking...after U are happy with ur car position...step on brake pedal...free gear...apply handbrake.right hand raise up to indicate U are done with the task.ur tester will then give U his next instruction.

moving off the slope no need signal? hmmm but for bike, if i m not wrong, b4 u abt to move off, u must signal right to inform the vehicles behind that u r moving off.

a little confused. cuz some said have to signal b4 moving but dunno which directn. some say no need. like what u've said, just when rch stop line, signal whichever e tester wants u to go.

my reverse parking sucks.. either more to the left if not more to the right..

parallel is much better. just that i so scare to hit the pole at the back.

s and crank course is a breeze. just hope nth happens tmr.

slope i m ok with it. only confuse abt the signalling part..

as for road part.. i hope my time slot 2.45pm is a good timing.
not many cars. and those who will be driving along amk. pls, spare some mercy....

tmr my warm up is at 8am!!! when i have test at 2.45pm. what a sucky instructor i have man..
