I dunno, Samsung is very forward sounding and lacks details. You
get tired easily. If you wanna listen for a long time without
fatigue, choose those that the sound is laid back, like it's at the
back of your head.
Sony is one of those that sounded like the music came from the
back of your head.
Creative is close but not as good and not as much details.
Apple is neutral, not at the front not laid back either. Details
also not superb.
Added: My personal opinion. 
oook..sometimes the earphones or headphones affects the sound
quality as well. Last time i bought a cheapo ear piece from pasar
malam then the sound quality like crap,i dunno how to say..its like
too clear and sometimes sharp and lack details. But now i use
a headphone from audio tech then better :D
