Emergency Stop and other help required

Hi All,

Today's my test date. need some help regarding emergency stop. When the tester tap the dashboard, do I just step the brake pedal and clutch to prevent the engine from stalling? Or step brake, clutch and pull handbrake?

Also, are there any things which I should look out for? Damn it man...my slot is at 2.45p.m...damn stressed bout it.

Brake, clutch, hand brake, gear 1.

make sure veh don't died.

stop within (if I don't remember wrongly) 1 veh length, and most important, don't panic.

Brake, don't clutch-in, just as engine about to stall then clutch-in.
If you brake and clutch-in at the same time, immediate failure if I'm not wrong.
Its ok if the engine stall.

Do not clutch in while u do an emergency brake... it will "free-wheel" ur vehicle... causing it to roll even faster.

Ur ultimate goal is to stop the car within the shortest distance...not to avoid stalling ur vehicle..

sure anot? where got hand brake one.. why would you want to lock up your rear wheels?

its ok if you stall your engine.. just restart, no penalty one.

I did tat for my driving test, the tester saw my foot works and he never say anything. I pass the test. Laughing

correction, engine stall, immediate failure (my wife kenna this one and failed test on the spot)
the thing is, everything will happen so fast, it ok as long as the sequence is ok, engine don't stall, and the braking distance is within limit.

Hand brake is after the veh had stopped.

everything ok, signal, mirror, release hand brake, move off.... done...

hrmm seems that the test requirements varies ...

but all i can say is... when u clutch in ur vehicle will move faster.

Maybe u slam ur brakes den clutch in before ur engine dies blah.

yup, cluthing in means car goes into free wheeling, but if you had already braked hard, its ok, thats why cannot panic... anyway, everything happens within seconds, for me, its almost together, slam brake then straight away clutch in.
