ok la proper feedback. i used to drive a particular mpv with 4
aspec dBs. thereafter, I changed them to 2 x yokohama c.drive and
2x yokohama aspec dBs.
either way, same reaction when one side contacts with a puddle of
water. why? water is not like "air". when u hit water - its the
same as hitting a wall. if a plane crashed into the sea for
example, it would smash, break, explode, etc. - same as crashing
into the ground. except that water = crash then sink.
therefore when ur wheels contact a large body of water on one side,
that side will be pulled back like as though there's an invisible
force on that side.
now i'm on 4 pilot sport tyres i think.. different car but same
effect =) tyre threads that drain water away assume that it's an
even layer of water on the surface of the road - not a sudden pile
of water although the threads do mean different ways of impacting
the water and might mean less force etc. =) the best way to counter
this is to have a tire that "cuts" thru the water - like a ship's
bow (the V shape at the front of the boat) but that's quite
impossible. so the thicker your tyre, the harder the impact.
blah blah blah. correct me if i wrote anithing wrongly
