good the straight a student can now be entrepruener le. maybe he
will make big bucks cos of that 
anyway i pity the car owners, assuming they only lend him the keys
to get somethign or leave the keys at home. then need to choose
beteen coveringthe friend/son/relative's ass and getting
sluaghtered byt he legal system.
they should make the person who drove ultimately responsible.... oh
and throw in some jail sentences for endangering pple's life too,
unless that person has an alternative license
