Is this the Reality? Is it true that most Sgforumers get bullied
in real life hence they tried to find a way to vent their anger: by
being rude, sarcastic in forums when they weren't in real life? Or
should I say this is the only way for most forumers to
vent their anger like what they can't in real life? Or should
I say they are just putting on a fake "mask" in real life and only
through the Internet they have really become themselves?
First of all, by gathering from all the posts in Sgforums, I
have found out that most people like to give rhetorical replies,
sarcastic remarks and/or useless smileys. ( note that it's and/or
used, stating that both type of people exists.) Please take a look
at this example from this thread in Sgforum:

The above question was being asked, though it may seems "lame"
or "stupid" for most people, I believe the Thread Starter is trying
to explain his/her feelings to the viewers. Maybe a simple reply
like, " Hmm, relax bah, take a step back and see further skies.."
or " Take it easy." could be said.. Or maybe if you really feel
like it's far beyond your concern, maybe by being quiet will be the
BEST option.. However, let's take a look from these replies,"
bye bye
day 1: run around orchard road naked.
day 2: run around geylang naked.
day 3: run around Chinatown naked.
day 4: run around Little India naked
day 5: run around town from polices
day 6: let everything settled down and get some rest.
day 7: run around the Istana naked.
that should suffice you for the whole week.

die?? Why did Sgforumers become so evil?? To the extent of telling

And there is more. Trust me. Randomly click on any threads in
Chit Chat, see for yourself, for I don't want to be infused by the
cruelness of this society by viewing those posts. Not only in Chit
Chat, see the top 10 forums. Click on every of them. See everyone
of them. See how people gets scolded for nothing.
In life, would you like to get scolded for nothing? Would like
to get scolded just because you need counselling? Why is it that in
real life, people that replies those thread behaves so differently?
Is it because the Internet is the only place you can say out thing
you do not like?
And for God's sake, see the Heading of this Sgforum: Singapore's
Online Community. What can you tell from the word community?
Sarcarsm? Evil Replies? Lack of compassion? Devillish society?
Cruel people?
Or put it in the crude way, is it just some weak people
trying to act big [email protected]#k? Notice why I put the word weak? Because
only weak people does that? Heroes dies for others, not kill
others. Only weaklings does try to act big [email protected]#k when they
weren't.
I also understand that some forums are full of compassion... but
with comparison to the highest viewing sites and the lowest viewing
sites.. Sites like "Chit Chat" has a huge number of visitors,
viewers and authors all over, and it's very active.. But on the
contrary , this is also the most junkiest forum, full of
synthetic ,evil, dark and cruel replies. Not a quote but a
fact. So this means that posting in these types of forums can
easily get hurt and can easily get non-constructive comments..
which is quite understandable..
Moderators, I hope you can understand that you
all can make the difference. Be it a harsh community, or a kind and
generous society, it all depends on all of you. And naturally, the
viewers too.
Okay, After saying so much, Ban me if you must. Cancel
off my thread if you must. Spam this thread with synthetic replies
for all you want. Ignore this thread for all you want. Laugh your
head off for all you want. Jeer at me for being such a busybody for
all you people want. But ask yourself, does it prick your
conscience? Is the above true? Ask yourself, are you someone that
changes your attitude totally once you are online,
once you can post in forums whereby you can scold others?? Think. I
am not God, I can't make you think. All depends on you.
