A Chinese national
who videotaped a woman in the shower with his mobile phone was
jailed for two weeks on 3 Mar 08.
Jin Dong Long, 20,
an electrical and electronic component assembler, admitted to
insulting the modesty of the 25-year-old woman in the kitchen
toilet of a flat in Simei on 14 Feb 08.
A court heard that
the woman noticed the mobile phone stuck on the toilet wall after
she had a shower that evening.
The phone was on
video mode. She found a clip of herself
in the process of showering.
Pleading for
leniency, Jin asked the court to give him a chance and said he
wished to continue working here.
He could have been
jailed for up to one year or fined or both
