Northern Irelands finest alternative rockers ASH will headline the
Singapore Beer Festival at Fort Canning Park on Oct 2nd, 2008.
Inspired by Nirvana, Mudhoney and Pixies, ASH burst onto the UK
scene with three top 5 singles in 1994 when its members were still
in secondary school.
In 1996 they released their seminal album “1977” which lead to
World wide acclaim and an International cult following which they
enjoy to this day. The band has released many memorable hits over
the years such as “Goldfinger”, “Oh Yeah”, “Burn Baby Burn”, “Girl
from Mars”, “A Life Less Ordinary”, “Polaris”, “Kung Fu”, “Angel
Interceptor” etc. They are also perennial headliners at major music
festivals such as T in the Park, Glastonbury, Nano Mugen Music
Festival, Roskilde, Reading and many more.
