im thinking of getting a lancer auto or an altis auto.

which is a better buy?in terms or FC and comfort and quality of the drive?

Vios... well if u like dashboard in the middle.. and u are not very tall..den it will be another choice for u.

haha i was thinking of altis cos its pretty spacious and nicely built.

but the lancer is quite poor in terms of interior built.

relatively bland looking interior.

the altis seems nicer in that aspect.hope to hear more views from fellow forumites.but wad bout the FC? Cool

as for the vios i dun reallie like it cos its reallie too small and i dun like the speedometer in the middle. Sad

The best is go test drive and feel the car yourself. Different people different taste.

Go test drive and see the difference.
The price of Altis and Lancer are quite near so the next to consider is which one you prefer.

Sorry dude, no offense but I always feel that Altis is a... well... budgeted Corolla. Some people drove certain cars for a reason, lifestyle, character or even raw power. I can't see what an Altis is trying to show itself of...
Vios - Sporty look
Camry - Supposed to be a lower cost luxury car
Honda Jazz - Fun car
Beemer - Executive/Luxury car
And the list goes on.

IMO, I do feel that altis is a pretty erm .. normal car. A friend of mine got it and says that Lancer has more power moving off. The audio inside was pretty bad (I heard it myself)

Lancer should be pretty normal and it can look sporty. Altis does not give me the sporty look no matter how it was kitted up. Cant be a head turner.

But if you are just looking for a reliable sedan, then I guess Altis is ok.

FC is very dependent so you cant say much.

Better top up your budget and get something you like... Honda, Madza, Nissan, Audi, Beemer... so many choices so why stick to these? haha

Have seen some nicely done up altis'

Have heard some complaints about the auto tranny of the lancer.. can stall the car while moving halfway..

Altis, because the more I see a lancer, I feel buey song. Laughing I prefer the previous generation lancer, the one with cedia styling. Looks sharper, I don't like curvy durvy cars.

i've tried both lancer and altis.

i felt that altis is a bit 'heavy' but when executing a turn is steadier than lancer.

lancer feels lighter but turning is not as steady. FC better than altis in this case?

Lancer fuel tank is 40l, with 5l reserved. Assuming you have a full tank at the causeway, when you return from muar, you almost might not make it to woodlands mrt. Laughing

Get Altis- Change the rim to 16", lower the spring, dun put bodykit, put fog light, boot lid, change or respray the front grill. Look out some photo from US Altis u will noe.

Dun no why more ppl say Altis lousy, but still no.1 in Singapore Rolling Eyes

Dunno but I have alot of bad experience with altis since it is built in Thailand.Everything fails after some time.My uncle and teacher have decided never to buy another one.
