Just to prove my point to some of those idiots out there who thinks tt by travelling all the way down fr north, south and east side of sg to take at bbdc due to the 'higher' passing rate, and coz pple fr the west hving to wait so darm long in getting a practical test date, this is what i hv found

actually the average pass rate for first timers is about 40% or 4 in 10 people..

thats not really very difficult looking at the figures Very Happy

i believe the roads ard CDC are best to train you for what you're gonna expect at Orchard Rd/town.. Very Happy

i dun know what the standard for the officer to say pass or not...

my case is,

1st time, drive half way, the officer said, immediate failed;
2nd time, dirve full way, the officer said, u need to pratice more;
3rd time, drive half way, the officer said, drive back to the driving centre, then to the office and asked me how many times i failed, i said 2 times already, then he said, OK lah, u can pass liao...

so i still dun know how good is my skill. btw, i learned driving from private instructor...

So that means driving at comfort ubi is like driving along Orchard at say 8pm on a saturday night?

well… the traffic flow around ubi area is really heavy…plus all those tonners with the ‘L” plate… especially in the evenings…. but i still managed to pass on the 1st attempt thou…..

what tester is looking at is the way you drive .. safety ? confidence enough to go out on road alone ?

Why most ppl failed on their 1st TP ?
Ans : Cos they too gan jiong (Anxious)

Why they kiss curb or even make mistakes that they never kana on normal training lessons but when taking 1st TP ?

But well some ppl are really lousy at driving .. For example my friend .. A 27 years old GUY flunked his TP 7th n gave up taking the test ... IMO, he will never pass his TP from the way he handle a car
