4 Weeks Jail For Taking Upskirt Shots
A plucky woman grabbed the shirt of a voyeur who had taken upskirt
shots of her with the camera phone while both of them were on an
MRT escalator.
Yesterday, Singapore Polytechnic student Goh Jin Rong, 22, admitted
to insulting the modesty of the 21 year-old- woman and was jailed
for four weeks,
He was at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station in Orchard Road at about 4.30pm
on 18 May 2006 when he surreptitiously took upskirt video clips of
the salesgirl.
The victim turned around and caught him in the act. She then
grabbed his shirt and called for help.
Some people nearby helped her detain Goh until the police
arrived.
Gohs cellphone was checked and found to contain a video clip and
an upskirt pictures of the victim.
Goh tendered a written plea in mitigation.
District Judge Wong Peck said Goh had behaved in an anti-social
manner.
