it is because mercedes is heavy and made to run on high speed...dont say 110...160km/hr u juz feel normal...only when reaching 180, it starts to get alittle fast...200 it'll get pretty tricky...dont try this speeds on sg highway... im refering to the nsh....and dont say ure immune to speed...u try seating in a picanto or chery QQ at 110...its complete different feel.

Depends on the car you or .. i am driving.

Some cars I've driven, have gone up to 130 - 150 kmh, very stable dont feel the speed at all...

Others are shaking like earthquake after 60 kmh.

Most of the time, I drive between 70 - 90... relaxing drive in the 2nd lane, not happy just overtake me... I can listen to music, sing song, plan my work, think about what to do after work... relax relax...

Driving a van does help to control your speed

When I was in France.... Normal speed was about 160km/h

Once tried 210km/h on the highway enroute to Barcelona.

The mercs is very strong and sturdy. At 110km/h you wont feel the speed.
My friend brought me on a ride on his SL55(06 model) its easily over 110km/h and without much acceleration, its crosses 140km/h with ease. Its real stable and comfortable to sit in at that kind of speed compared to his Evo9 which is very G-force-ish and noisy.
