In my opinion JJ Lin cannot be compared to the likes of Jay
Chou, David Tao and Alexander Wang. JJ Lin's latest album is much
more worse than Jay's attempt. At least in Wo Hen Mang, there's
still some sincerity there in songs like Qing Hua, but for JJ Lin,
he sounds like he's producing an album for the sake of it. There's
no passion in it at all.
David Tao's Beautiful was aweful, that I agree. But Wang Lee Hom's
the one who has been in the industry for like 10 years and he's the
one who's become more and more serious, though I cringed at his
'chink-out' music.
November's Chopin and Still Fantasy was bad bad bad. Hei Se Mao Yi,
Feng, Shan Hu Hai were so plain and generic, while Tui Hou, Xin Yu,
and Bai Se Feng Che are so interchangeable. His last good album was
only Qi Li Xiang, and if I may, this is the album that he should
have only released for the past 3 years:
01 Ye Qu
02 Piao Yi
03 Lang Man Shou Ji
04 Niu Zai Hen Mang
05 Yang Guang Zai Nan
06 Qing Hua Ci
07 Yi Lu Xiang Bei
08 Mi Die Xiang
09 Ju Hua Tai
10 Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi
