idiosyncrasy SG its natural that after updating, you cant use the sim card anymore because by updating it.. you patch the crack and have to recrack to use the sim card again

alleggerita SG You are rarely able to brick an Apple product like the iPhone, iPod touch, iPod nano etc. Because if it seems bricked, all you need to do is boot it into disk mode and restore and, voila!, it's like new (in terms of software) again.
alleggerita SG When I had my iPod nano 2GB 1st-gen last time, I was Podzilla-ing it and I thought I bricked it too. Totally didn't response to my inputs. I panicked. but luckily I found guides on how to boot the iPod nano into disk mode and restore it and it's fine again.Exact same thing happened the first time I tried to Jailbreak my iPod touch 8GB.
