Sorry to spoil the mood a little over here... initially I also feel that the new civic looks really cool and sporty... but the more i see it on the roads, the more it looks like a cartoon car.... especially the back lights.... overly exaggerated.... too cartoonish for a car...

But the interior and dashboard area is nice... overall rating for it is still not bad... just my personal thoughts....

one of the bad thing is no autolocking of the door when step on the brakes..most cars nowadays can auto lock when brake is depress..

another is the window..only the driver side window got auto up n down..the rest need to hold on to it..kind of ma fan..especially while driving..

Te autolock function is nice to have.... But regarding the windows, only the driver needs auto wind up and down wat.... as for the passengers, they can hold on to the button to wind down the windows right? they are not driving anyway.... i think such additional functions will add up to the cost of the car... that is why they excluded them....

This autolocking thing when brake is depress is not an original feature an add on by using cheap chinese parts.

got paddle shift on the higher models...but i dont think it would be as quick as the sport car versions Laughing

Ya.

the paddle shift is actually remote controls to teh spekers and the tachometer.

when you "shift" down.. the speaker sounds louder and the tachometer looks faster. haah.

ya..but sometimes when u are driving alone then want to wind down the windows..It will be very inconvience already...up to individual lah..i guess..

as for the auto lock function, i think it should become a standard spec in every car...in prove the security of protecting one self..especially in areas like JB...

Probably canadian one made for their market. Like the 1.8 corolla altise, and 1.8 nissan pulsar made in australia for their own market. Laughing

Ya. Because in North America... Hondas come in many version..

Some trim of Civic are from Canada, some from Japan. Not to mention there is an Acura version of the Civic (made in canada too).

and the most basic civic is just that, really basic. No Aircon, no mud guard, floor mat, manual locking, winding windows, driver side view mirror, manual mirrors, steel rims. but at cheap price, about C$13000.

Nope, unless you PI it. Even if you PI i think you can only bring in UK one.
