Devil1976 SG Btw, just a sidetrack comment... Branded bras are really nowhere near cheap nowadays... And somehow lingerine just tends to earn their 'brand' quite easily..? (unless it's those cheap China-made Ah ma's brands lah.... )
ninefold9 SG In Hawaii many ladies don't buy bras, especially the natives. The coconut shells are chiseled & moulded into cups to fit their sizes. They have the choice to pick the size of coconut Their bras are everlasting; wash and re-use. No branding The user could paint her favourite colours on the shells They strung the straps with seashells They learn to co-exist with nature by using coconut shells & seashells. I think manufacturers of Bras will go bankrupt if ladies here follow the footsteps of their Hawaiian counterparts.
joyanz SG i also a fan of nike sports bras. nice n comfortable! however i find that nike shoes r not as good as its sportsbras. nike shoe wear off easily.
joyanz SG er... lacy ones?? i dont really like tt. cause when wear fitting tshirt can c the lacy pattern inside. guys like to c gals wear lacy bra in fitting tshirt? plain one better. all occasion also can wear
joyanz SG agree! one bra can easily cost abt $50! dunno y so expensive also. for example, a Triumph, the price can range fr $12.90~60+!!!! u ppl think it is worth buying a bra for $50~60 when u can get it for arnd $20+ for the same brand??
joyanz SG u serious anot? u mean is last time girls or the now the girls there r still using coconuts as bras? later all sg girls also use coconut how? haha! all the bra shop can close down!
joyanz SG now the nike sportsbra is dri fit. nice designs n interesting colours.. so it tends to attract girls to buy. in terms of performace of the bra.... i would rate it 4/5. adidas sportsbra i would rate it 3.5/5. the price of nike sportsbra also acceptable. arnd $40-50. one bra can last long. worth it la.
Ponders SG Do you know there are 12 components in a bra (source from June 2007 National Geographic) I still can't figure out what the 12 are.... 1. Hook 2. Eye 3. Cup 4. Padding 5. Underwire 6. Rings/Clasps 7. Lace 8. Fabric (lycra) 9. Straps 10. Hem 11. ? 12. ?
Ponders SG Another trivia. Triumph International is the world's largest lingerie manufacturer. They reported sales of USD1.6billion in 2005. At the same year they also made their one billionth pair of panties. Their largest market is Japan.
browniebaobao SG La Senza.. think they are still having 50% storewide ba. i bought two when the GSS started.. at 30% storewide.. and then tmd.. few days later, they started having 50% storewide! but they dun have the right size for me.. tho they are Canadian brand.. but they dun carry really big sizes. that time bought their strapless bra coz really desperately needed one.. i like their design.. sexy... even tho without lace.
