I've watched kingdom of heaven last nite and find it disturbing that a good friend of balian father played by Liam Neeson did not stay and help to guard Jerusalem instead left for Cyprus....

Indeed, if Tiberius with his knights did stay and help, maybe the outcome will be different?

YOu see, about more than 70% of major religions say that if you do not believe in them, you go to hell. So technically, despite being a islam or christian devoted follower, I still get condemned to hell by the other religion.

I think religion is merely a tool used by some con people to sell the soul of others and use them for their self interest purpose.

Psychologically speaking, when peoples are praying, it is nothing but a self reflection within oneself seeking a comfort zone.

God, religions are fake!!

Don't talk cock lah!! Religions' influence still exist today.You just have to get out of your house and hop onto a bus and observe the commuters' activities and you will know for yourself what I mean.They are either praying silently or reading their holy books silently.I seen this type of things several times already and seem to get used to it already.It seems that people are getting more religious nowadays.

Tiberius did asked Balian to abandon city of Jerusalem and join him in Cyprus together with it's people.

But Balian refused to abandon the helpless people of Jerusalem against the advancing invasion of Salahaddin.

Tiberius have no reason to send his men to a certain death against the army of Salahaddin, so he made the best decision in the best interest of his men to head for Cyprus and not to stay behind and fight together with Balian.

Such decision are understandable between leaders.

religions are just like clubs… we are born into some clubs and we need to obey or follow the rules. All the clubs are organised by one CEO behind all clubs. and the CEO alone is the God. And CEO has many helpers, managers, accountants, and so one.

Praying is like calling to these ppls. If u dont pray / call, none of them know that u need help.

If u dont follow the club that your born into, u will go to hell. This is bcuz ur born into this and must be loyal to your own club.

But still.. if u dont be a member of a club and u go to hell if u dont, thats just too ridiculous to me..
