technoboy SG Every guitar will be able to do that. But please don't do it yourself if you're inexperienced as that might cause dead note or buzz if the action is lowered too much. The space between the strings and the fretboard is called action. So, lowering the action will be able to make you press the strings easier. Good luck on your guitar!

dumbdumb! SG what type of guitar. i think the nut can be filed down so the string won't be so far from the fratboard?

alexlau SG its called the ” action ” its the distance from string to fretboard, you can get it done in a shop ,any guitar is possible, they’ll file down the thing holding your string down
