Recently there is a news article saying that the profit taken from traffic fines are more than 3 million dollars? They increase the number of ah peks on the road from a mere 27 to 800? Guess they found another lobang to make some $$$

The LTA & Tp are now claming down hard on mod. As long as visible from the exterior, they will take down plate number, pictures of it. This includes, kangeroo bar, spot lamp uncovered, visible under chassis neon lights, illegal mod exhaust etc etc.
If it is damn obvious like kangeroo bar etc, they will send letter c/w summon to the owner house. If suspected of heavy mod in the engine bay, they will either wait for the owner near their car or send a letter to ask them to go LTA inspection center within 24 hrs.
So far I only heard of 1 person kenna within 24hr car inspection package... lolz..

This is to say its best to keep the car original on the outside. But inside... as long they cannot see from outside they dun bother.

Normally they aim cars which are ricey and loud in appearance.

So far areas affected which I heard are MSCP @ CCk, BB, SK, NT, PSR.

Hrmm... Maybe the Tp should do road block @ Nee soon dam or WC mac or SK or CV at night during the weekends when alot of dare devils comes out and nail them in 1 shot... lolz..

I saw TP on bikes looking around in MSCP.

I believe they are looking for modded cars whos number plates they have taken down while chasing them but could not catch up.

SO no matter how fast you are, if you get away, you cannot hide. Thay will track you down through your license plate, take pictures or where you were found, and you will be hauled to court for a hefty fine and possible jail time.

Not worth all that road machoness....

Win the fight with them, but you lose the war in the end.

U may be wrong. They are there to check those who has not paid road tax. BTW, the men in white TP and ROV work differently. Most here assume them to be the same. Then again, its not surprising as some who commented do not drive.

ROV wun be bother about chasing them or find those speedster. Thats for the TP.
ROV mainly check for mods or aim lorry / buses to see if they comply with LTA rules and regulations. eg. cargo height limit of a lorry or no canopy to cover fine sands on sand trucks etc.

I highly doubt the ROV wil spend their time going thru each MSCP trying to find illegally modded cars like trying to find 4D numbers.

A realistic way of catching these people would be to park their bike along sin ming road workshops and observe the cars that go in and out. That way they can stop them without resorting to "underlying" tactics.
