Hi,
I am currently doing a survey for a deviance assignment on the
attitudes of Singaporeans with regards to their opinions on tattoo/
tattooing. Please feel free to contribute to any of the questions
listed below!
1. Do you think tattoos are losing its deviant label (is
increasingly accepted in Singapore)?
I seriously dont know
2. What do you think is the limit to getting a tattoo?
The limit is the meaning of
your tattoo. No limit to significance but big nono to "for the sake
of it"
3. What do you ( or what do people) consider when getting a
tattoo?
The design and
significance. i would only put what i created, or came up with
the artists.
4. What is the purpose of a (or your) tattoo?
The first was definitely an act of
defiance, those after were pretty much influenced by the design
course i am attending.
5. When faced with difficulties in getting one (e.g.: fear of
rejection), how do you overcome these difficulties?
You would go ahead if u like
it?
6. Why do some people get a tattoo but choose to cover them
up?
I guess the older
generations are still pretty conservative, at least. It still gives
a pretty bad impression on first look, thats what my mum
said.
