You have really no idea what you're talking about are you?
Even if you stream video off youtube or crunchy roll, also
constitutes as a "download." UDP datagrams are still being passed
through your cable modem, into your PC to be viewed. Hence its
still a download.
In most browser, the video streamed would still exist in the cache,
for easier subsequent viewing. Hence the video is STILL in your
computer.
OTOH, my point was that, some people DON'T need ODEX products due
to their familiarity with the japanese language. And since ODEX
deals with English Subs only, these people would not have incurred
them any loss.
Now if there is anyone that ODEX can legitimately claim to be
causing them losses, it should be the fan-subbers. They are the
ones taking away their business by subbing faster and better than
ODEX, and releasing it free.
