shrugs. religion to me is about rules and regulations, if you do this, you're bad, if you do that you're good.

Is it possible to believe in God, even if you don't believe in any organized religion?

These are my views so far :

I believe there is a God.

I believe there is a soul.

He/she/it has the 3 Os

Please share yours.

For me, I believe that there is only one god, also there's life after death & when you do good, you'll be rewarded but when you do bad, then there's punishment

I agree with life after death (soul). When you speak of punishment, what kind? Temporal or eternal?

FireIce SG

oh... me oni believe in big O lah....

Well, regarding the punishment is you'll be rewarded in heaven when you do good & in hell when you do bad

So are you an atheist or God just doesn't matter in life?

Talrak SG

Well, regarding the punishment is you'll be rewarded in heaven when you do good & in hell when you do bad

In your view, how long does the punishment go on in hell?

Forever

After a certain period of suffering for his,her misdeeds, the bad soul can go to heaven as well?

In my opinion, the punishment will take place in hell for all the bad deeds that you've done on earth thereafter he/she will go to heaven.

Oh, definitely. It's possible to believe in god but not any present religion. Can't quite remember what it's called, though. Just theism? Don't think so. Also, it's actually quite common.

Anyway, very staunch atheist here. I don't flaunt or try to spread my believes, but I'm very strong in my faith (or rather, the lack of).

i was taught that every man who has an inch of goodness in their heart will have a place in heaven......only that they have to serve years in hell.......as for those who dunno then i think they are exempted.....but i guess god lets men think....so its solely how we think is most important......shit...i'm getting sleepy...i start writing crap sometimes when i get sleepy........

If you believe in God, and there isn't one, its OK.

But if you don't believe, and there is one, you're screwed.

If you believe in God yet you believe in no religion, it's quite contradicting.

But then again, humans are an irony themselves.
