A few years back, when mediaWork was still around, it manage to
produce better show than mediaCorp (thank to LKY, it's no longer
there). Without competition, local production will never make it
and we can forget about producing any really good actor which can
move to the global stage.
Yup I agree that local shows standards were rising when
mediaWorks was around. Shows like Growing Up came into being at
those times, and the one about a girl (mediaWorks production)
which I find were quite on par with established productions
overseas.
Now the shows, are just justifications for the salaries of
mediaCorp producers. Ch 8 dialogues are like language tapes!
