Call someone at home on their HandPhone from your handphone

hold your cellphone about 1 foot from your car door and have the person at your home to press the unlock button, Holding it near the mobile phone on their end .

Save someone from having to drive your keys to you .

Distance is no problem.

Could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" of your car , you can unlock doors .infro from a friend not sure if it is true?????????

i have read about this before and it does work on certain cars only. i tired it on my bmw it didnt work, i tired it with the w220 s430 it didnt work. i tired it with the w221 S500 didnt work. tried it with my honda crv worked!!

I never locked myself out of my own car ever before, BUT, I still keep my car keys separate from my main bunch of house keys. And in this main bunch, I have another duplicate car key just in case.

And as secondary backup, I keep one singular duplicate inside my wallet, plus another I hide around the exterior of my car.

I can NEVER get locked out of my own car!

Unless I suffer Amnesia!

you lock the doors from inside, throw the key inside the car and close the door. Doesn't matter if its remote key, all it takes is some forgetfulness and perhaps some stupidlty as well.

Wont happen to an Opel too. No key, no lock.

Hmm.... perhaps if it works on your ride, and you lost your keys but car not locked. So use this method to lock your ride. Then no need to jaga the car.
