n0x SG if memory din fail me.. the 1st gen of mx 5 came with a 1.6 litre and 2nd gen came with 1.8 litre and the current 3rd gen came with 2.0 litre... so what u are asking probably is the second gen.. so yep... it comes with a 1.8
