I love New Age too! I think I started seriously listening to
them way back in the late 1990's. My collection increased
dramatically when Borders and HMV established themselves here.
Before that, most of the CD shops here hardly stock New Age CD's
beyond the typical Kitaro, Yanni and such.
The Buddha Bar series, as mentioned by FI, is really good too but a
tad pricey.
Hopefully the prices
will drop someday. I think the local brand, EQ Music, released
Exotic Moods and Exotic Moods 2 series, worth checking out. I'm not
sure about Exotic Moods 2 but Exotic Moods was good.
Who's familiar with the Japanese group, Sens? Or with the Narada
label? How about Bandari? Bandari recently released a new series -
Oriental 1 to 4, which is pretty good if you like 'new age' /
modernised chinese instrumentals.
How about the Pacific Moon label? Any fans?
