Class 4A, 4, 5

hw_ng SG

hi all.. jus wondering if anyone has got a class 4A licence? do any driving centre have the course for 4A? i had read the old threads, mostly everyone have class 4 and 5 licence, but not 4A licence.. anyway if u have a class 4 licence, means u can drive a omnibus as well?

Xcert SG

class 4A is for those public bus drivers who take their own company's training programme...

U get class 4 if U go take it from outside.

basically same thing...

class 4 vehicle is unladen weight exceeds 2500kg but below 7250kg...go find an omnibus and see the side of the bus...will have the weight printed there...

last time my basic theory states class 1 is for disabled vehicles...dunno if it refers specifically to the 3 wheel bike...

4A is class 4 licence tied to a company.

it's not like class 3A, where A is for automatic transmission. Very Happy
