cos feeding strays not only dirties the common areas, it
encourages flies and pest and the further breeding of yet more
strays ! ....
if one's that enamoured about cats, adopt the strays, take them in,
or bring them to the SPCA, don't scatter packets of rice around
void decks and around rubbish chutes and scuttle off, leaving half
eaten bits of cat food and rice lying around rotting for the
banglas to be cleaned up ! ....
there was this ah pek that used to do that around my neighbourhood,
who'd go around feeding strays with newspaper wrapped bits of rice
and fish, creating a huge mess every time ! ... and the cat
population exploded ! ... best part ... he doesn't live in my
estate, so he doesn't have to deal with the consequences ! ...
