Where to get HID?

wanted to change the headlights to the blue crystal bright ones for my lancer. wonder where can i do it and how much does it cost? i wan it to be properly done and not a CHIONG one =p… can anyone advise ??

those are called fluo lamps liao....
lower wattage...
juz like ur house lightings but alill higher in terms of wat

the HID ones are very high in watts
and usually v expensive

its nt only philips buld the specs of HID bulds is the same throughout all brands
the only thing that changes are the variation of watt for a HID,life span or weather its a Mercury or sodium

If he say chiong,i guess he mean lights wich seems bright like those HID

which look yellowish when on.

if jus xenon bulbs like philips...
diamond vision can set u abt 80 bucks a set. which is very bluish.

those HID super bright like those stadium light...
is based on 4000k to 12000k lumen....
starting cost from 200+ bucks (whose korean made) onwards....
till those very exp ones.... US ones

if ur car doesn’t come fitted wif HID, den to the best of my knowledge, it’s illegal…

cost around $300 to $400 to do HID conversion. there are already many workshops offering such services, including autobac. just look and ask around.

The "4000k - 12000k" ratings does not represent lumens; it represents colour temperature.

HIDs will require ballasts to use and have 'start up' time and cannot be turned and off in rapid succession without risking blowing it.

HID vs a halogen bulb of the same wattage is usually 2-3 times brighter. So technically they should be considered 'low wattage but high output' instead of high wattage (as compared to halogen/krypton).

Chiong ones are not even HID.. they are just HIDeous. Laughing
