I'm currently learning driving but having problem with small
slopes at traffic light. Usually, for these slopes just half-clutch
will prevent the car from rolling backward and I can move forward
already. However, my instructor teaches me to release to
half-clutch first before releasing the brakes. Problem is, when the
car is on brake, I have no idea where is the half-clutch point cos
the car engine vibrates randomly even when idling.
So I dunno whether the engine noise is due to me reaching
half-clutch point or some random idling noise.
Any idea how to feel for the biting point when the car is
stationary without looking at the tachy?
Thanks!
