dun try whipping the phone and saying those cheesy stuff.. i'll
walk away and never board the same train ever again if i were
her...
do it subtly. do that eye contact and smile thing first. then, on
THE day, write a small note about you wanting to be friends with
her and pass it to her. smile when you do so... i think she's less
likely to get freaked out. after you give already, you can edge
away, give her time to read and think.
look at her reaction. then, the next day, just smile at her the
whole journey. se her reaction.
if all is positive, you may now talk to her. 
that's the
way to court decent looking girls.
