i tink tat is the normal stock evo, if it was a 400hp evo, it shd be as fast or even faster than the lambo on the straights.

It was already mentioned in the vid that THAT Evo has 400 horsepower, thus known as the FQ-400.

It did bring out the big flaw of the Evo, its big turbo Laughing

It is fast no doubt, but no matter what, the lambo's 6.2 600bhp V12 just simply says its faster Razz

Stock to Stock ... how can an evo ever outrun a lambo.
Even if change the turbo to the 1 big 1 small big big turbo and tune to 400.
At the most 0-100 km/h maybe on par... but once above 180km/h... I wonder how an evo can chase the monster bull.

According to survery:
Evo
0-100km/h: 5.2sec
0-200km/h: 12 secs

Lambo Murc
0-100km/h: 4.2sec
0-200km/h: 9.8sec

This is just an averegae survey on the fast timing it can get from 0-200km/h
At the 200km/h mark... most probably the evo is 1 lampost behind. lolz..

Looks to me the Lambo driver was told to let Evo look good...

Doesn't make sense when the Lambo's ground clearance is so low and cannot handle corners. I see that the Evo's suspension is so spongy around corners.

It's marketing gimmick I feel..

oh i have no doubt the evo in this case can keep up with the lambo. however, the spin was quite probably orchestrated.

as for how well a car can corner, it has more to do than ground clearance alone.

Wouldn't this count for superb cornering abilities?

Agreeably, the Evo is King on the road as is obvious on our roads today, but pitching it with a Lambo and saying it can even outshine a Lambo? I think it's marketing.

By the way, anyone know how is the consumption like on such an evil car, the Evo?

the cornering does not solely base on the wheelbase only. The sheer weight of the Murcielago makes it difficult to turn round corners. Similarly take a bag that is empty and take a bag filled with stuffs and try to fling them around and change direction. You will see what i mean.

Btw I'm sure many of you watched the so gorgeous looking Gallardo convertible episode, Jeremy did mention that Lambo owners simply do not care how fast the lambo goes round corners but simply the sound and its looks. As a lambo fan i have to say i have that mindset Very Happy

imagine hw much work and effort u have 2 go thru just 2 put 800BHP into a 4 banger and i can gurantee u it wun be reliable and undrivable for everyday use...u're talking abt the whole package when u say which car is better u noob.... Confused and i can tell u that car is...RUBBISH.... Laughing a mclaren F1 LM is MUCH more economical than the FQ400 already and that is in race spec... Wink

it does 3.6MPG....and the mclaren F1 GTR does 6MPG and its WAY faster.... Laughing
