Yes a combined family income of 10K with both husband and wife graduates working should qualify as middle income for now.
With the high inflation and increse in prices for basic goods and commodities who knows 10 years down the road what will we get for that.

Depends on how the war is fought. You can fight with pride and morals, you can fight with underhand tactics like sabotage, defaming, etc.

How does one measure success? Monetary earnings? I think not. Reaching the peak in your field? Being happy and satisfied? Driven by passion rather than money? Cool

Earning that kind of money is definitely not poor, it's just that our expectations have gone up and we are more demanding and expect more out of life compared to our previous forefathers.

It never seems to amaze me how a low income family with only the husband as sole breadwinner earning less than $2000 can have 3 or 4 kids while our graduates myself included still refuse to procreate......

Live simply and enjoy the simple things in life....

Those with their fat pay cheques and year end bonuses, instaed of splurging on your gifts and parties this festive season, also do your part by donating to the less well off and charity.
I just went down to the Boys Brigade Sharity Box HQ a few days back and they still have not met their target for food wishes donation while we hear of record bonuses and salary in the news.

These essential food items and household items is used directly in helping the less well off to defray their living costs instaed of cash that goes to the CEO pay like durai.
