With the increase in taxi fares, it was reported that most taxi
drivers lost money instead of earn more as less people took
taxi.
I think it is very dumb for taxi companies to raise cab fare.
People will simply take less taxi and take more mrt and buses. The
only people who will continue to take taxis despite the fare
increase will be those people who likes to go clubbing until
midnight, people who are late for work, appointments etc.
I think taxi drivers are digging their own graves by increasing
taxi fares.
