The most important thing is that (like many has said) they do
not overdo it, otherwise, they'd be looking more like a doll,
rather than a human being.
However, there is still a point to consider, that others look
really good with make-ups but lousy with being au naturel, and vice
versa. But then again, girls who care about how they look reflects
upon how well they care, treat and love their ownself. Their
appearance not only influences herself (boosting self-esteem), but
also it does play a major part in the influence of others around
her as she goes out.
This obviously does not mean that for those who don't care about
how they look equates to not caring or loving themselves, although
to the minority portion of the community, this may be true.
Still, in summary, I still prefer a girl who cares about their
general appearance, and of course, one who believes in perfume
