The main reason why a teenage girl tend to stick (be friend) with
another teenage girl is because they find each other of the same
maturity, as compared to boy of same age (not mature =
childish).
The counselor and educators feel that once the girls are into
tertiary education or higher, by then the maturity of boys should
have catch up and be on par with the girls of same age. The
relationship between boys and girls will be more normal from then
onward.
