You're probably not far off the mark there, Fatum. When you're
holding a hammer, everything looks like a nail, and there are an
unfortunate number of halfwits in my field who are prone to
this.
The other culprits are teachers. I've lost count at the number of
teachers I've seen hit the panic button and start spouting
nonsensical diagnoses when the problem is that they simply suck at
teaching.
