it depends on whether you need to seat 8 or 7, do you required
child seat and how many, do you need to seat 7 or 8 most of the
time and for long jouney (eg up North for holidays)?
I'm have 4 kids and I need 2 child seats + 2 booster seats, with
wife and maid, that makes 7 of us, so weekends are fully loaded. I
will go for Toyota Estima/Previa if I had the $$$$ but I settle for
a 8 seater Trajet cost is more easy on my pocket 
not the idea choice but $$$$ not
enough.
Honda odyssey will be good if you are looking for 7 seater. If you
looking for a smaller one, Toyota Wish will be the one, both are
lower than other MPV and drives & handles more like a
car.
