The stream of light you saw could have been a passing meteor
(depends on where you are and whether it traces back to
Gemini).
Counted 9 last night at east coast and one was a real winner.
Reports say they should be yellow hues but the sharp, rich one I
thought I saw around 45 degree above horizon, looked powdery white
and mostly emerald then a streak of faint blue trailing, must have
been a little less than a second before she disappeared.
Hopefully you made a wish instead of screaming what the fvck when
it happened.
