Go to those tanning salons. Quite a few in Singapore. Most will offer you the first session free.

As for the self-tanning lotion, it gives a very fake tan colour and if you dont apply evenly, you get crappy results.

Depends on what you use. If you have very light skin colour, don't go for those extra dark formula. It will turn you yellow.

If your default skin tone is light, use a light color one, and you'll turn out great. Personally, I recommend shiseido face tanner.
