this depends on how long the road is if the road is long enough, the lexus will outrun the evo by reason of a higher top speed that is assuming something...

uncle, both cars have same power and same top speed. and u cant really compare 0-100 timing in this case.

but evo's FC is much higher than LS430.

I am talking abt reliability...
There is no replacement for Displacement...
I have driven a Lexus LS400 from Singapore to KL before... I could run at 250 with only 1 petrol stop before Sungei Besi Toll... You ask any "DONE UP EVO" if their car can tahan top speed whack for 1 1/2 hours...

Stock sc430 to stock e9.... lexus hard to win E9

Wait till you see what an evo can do on 2nd gear when turbo kicks in.
1 st gear maybe side by side but from 2nd gear onwards hard to say already.

If the E9 put in a dual hole. 1 big 1 small big big turbo charger aftermarket type. Can see the diff between the 2 cars already.

On the road saw before sc430 and e9 run. They start around 80 on the highway... all of a sudden the sc430 move upfront first and the e9 chase. From what I can see during that time, the e9 over took the sc430. I itchy leg also move closer to them to see show... but no matter how much i floored... still cannot reach near them. What to do... 1.6 jap car how to chase those fast car.
I would esitmate they play till 180 then drop speed liao no more playing liao.. coz in the end I manage to reach near them after 1 min of chasing at 140.... lolz..

Nope. I think the evo's turbo will melt down before reaching KL.

ive been to KL and back to sg in an evo 8...

no problem with the car engine or heat... we made 5 petrol stops though..

seriously speaking... i'd rather get an euro-r legacy GT or a mazda6 mps..

not exactly raw power.. but still fast.. consumption also good..

went up to KL in a legacy gt too.. made 3 petrol stops. actually 2 la.. but the 3rd stop was to top up the 1/4 tank..

Totally 2 different capacity between sc430 & e9 4300cc v8 & 2000cc s4 How to compare?? Fuel consumption is almost the same but sc430 fuel tank is 75litres Evo only 53 of cos evo will need additional stop at petrol station if going kl.

If the Lexus has 500 bhp and a highly tuned suspension system it will win the evo if the evo is stock, but if the EVO is 600bhp leh?
