Since the days of wu song the tiger killer , it's a sinful thought to fall for one sister in law...actually they say Wu Song actually like his sister in law Pan Jin Lian...

Now adays even in modern world, it;s not right for one to fall for sister in law..scandalous but if both parties can click and is a match made in heaven ...what to do?

Deino SG

If you love your brother, you wouldn't even dream of it

I find that chinese culture has their hypocripsy confucian values??

I mean look at the japanese, once the brother got involved with his sister in law, both eloped...but japan has a rich sex culture

China's sex culture are repressed by self righteous scholars and officials who visits brothels

It's a contradiction between the ancient's conservative and modern's dare to pursue mindset.

Ancient's conservative mindset: Peng You Qi, Bu Ke Qi. Which I think means "Never have design on your mate's wife"

While the modern mindset: If both loves each other, we should be together no matter what.

Quinsy SG

Looks like we all need to go back to moral education classes and start debating again.

Again, such things are the issues philosopher talks about. What is right and what is wrong?

papercut87 SG

yes, it is wrong, VERY WRONG.

I don't think it's wrong to fall in love with your own sister-in-law bah. Nothing with loving a person mah. But it would only be wise not to tell anyone about that. Can cause a lot of misunderstandings and problems.

And love her doesn't mean you have to be with her. You'ld just want her to be happy, i.e. have a happy marriage life with your brother.
