I was recently at the Holland Village open air parking area,
(directly behind Hagen Daz.) Have you noticed how the Valet Parking
folks have virtually monopolised the entire area surrounding their
little hut? They line their clients cars up against the road,
blocking all cars from coming out. Hence if any cars do make a move
to come out from the lots, they are virtually perpetually waiting
there for the lot. Most ironic thing is that they also 'chop' the
lots beside the garbage dump with stands that say 'reserved for
valet parking'. And what do they do with those lots? They don't use
it! They prefer to leave them vacant as 'spares' while helping
themselves to the other lots in the car park.
anyone has any view on this? I just think it's so unfair when the
parking situation there is already so dire!
