For some parents and students,
education is seen as a source of mental torture. All I ask is this:
Please give the children of Singapore the confidence to face their
future with a lions heart.

Everything is wrong in this quote.
1) Mental torture? If this is mental torture, Singapore will fall
when these people enter the work force.
2) How the hell do you give people confidence?
3) If these people can't face an exam paper, how will they "face
their future with a lion's heart"?
