Car got dripping sound :(

This morning i accidentally hit a kerb (can feel the impact man!quite jialat Crying or Very sad ) while drivng my dad's car. i got freaked out and went to see..nothing much except the tire & rims got scratches..but after i off the engine and everything, i hear drip drip sound..jialat!is something leaking?isit dangerous?dont dare tell dad..worry he scold..

i waited for half hour den i peep below the car body half hr later..the floor is dry..means ok? help me!so worry now.. Crying or Very sad

u better send it for a check up in car shop...just in case, if later your dad or you drive, then steering lost control, kenna accident and fatality, then you regret, tooo late liao. Rolling Eyes

check out car also not expensive, only needs 1 day only, so you can just tell you dad say you hear some leak in the car and decides to check it out in the car shop....(no mention of knocking of kerb is required) Wink

Sad if i tell my dad he might not let me drive alone again..sobbies..the sound is like ticking ticking sound. The impact was quite huge cos i literally banged (hit is a milder word i guess) into the kerb Confused dont know what i was thinking!! Sad

I drove for a short while after that and everything seems fine. scared Crying or Very sad maybe i'll confess to him tomorrow. Sad

what car is it? hit left side or right side? high low or front bumper? below bumper or above bumper?

the reason i ask this is becoz diff cars place diff stuff at diff place in the engine bay.. might give a better idea if u describe in more detail.

dun fret.. if u can drive on without much difference as before the incident.. its probably nothing but scratches.. but to on the safe side.. sending the car in for a run thru by a qualified mech might be a good thing

It is an altis. I hit it while making right turn Crying or Very sad After hitting, i mount the kerb and drove off bumper was ok though..luckily??

altis…my dad drives an altis too.. clicking sound after switching off engine is normal.. i hear it sometimes too.. and i dun think u hit the underchasis of the car cos altis has such huge clearance frm the ground… unless ur father did something to lower the car or something..

just monitor the car for a few days... make sure that nothings out of the ordinary.. then leave it as it is..

u just pass ur TP not long ago is it.. or too long never drive.. mount kerb..

next time... try to err on the safe side if ur not sure.. turning a little more wont coz any damage if u think u might be a little too close to the kerb when making turns..
