duckling SG I last time school where got buy costumes and dance for people to see… just got a solid education and teachers with canes in hand, pointing us down the right moral path.

the Bear SG for school excursions all that are okay.. but why the hell do i keep seeing children brandishing cards collecting for all kinds of things almost all the time?
alleggerita SG Worse is when I see Primary 5 or 6 students brandishing their ATM cards..I only had it when I started in Poly yr 1..
the Bear SG well, as a parent, i could tell them "no.. i don't want my child eating lead paint and cardboard buns" but these days, i suspect the schools are not doing these things for education, rather, they're doing these things to win awards...
alleggerita SG Hell right you are..nowadays school cares more about their own image..they may want you to get good results, but you can see they want it for their own image and not really for the students sake..
