not sure when the swings are built and installed in the playground though

some scientific explanation (Resonance / Vortex Shedding Resonance / Vortex Shedding / aeroelastic flutter) pertaining to this

saw in wiki.. it says Mechanical Resonance partly caused the collaspe of Tacoma Narrows Bridge around 67 years ago
