Because Quan Yifeng said in her blog that someone asked her and Guo Liang if they have "done it together" and make lewd jokes about them. She also claimed that he asked her if she wanna appear as an adult show host with him. Although she never named who it was in the blog, the Chinese media put 1 and 1 together, and guessed it was him.

This, plus the fact that he had erratic behavior as a judge, caused a huge uproar. He would from time to time wipe out his camera and take photographs of the contestants while ON-AIR, gave what people deemed as irrelevant comments and that he seems to favor 1 or 2 contestants and talked a lot about them, while not giving 2 hoots to the rest.

This is absolutely disgusting. This is supposed to be a TALENT search. WTF does looks have anything to do with talent. Star Search is totally fucked up. Its just creating more crappy pop stars u see nowadays on MTV, those that lip sync, dont write their own songs, and have their bad sounding voice edited until it sounds nothing like them and the only reason y theyre pop stars is because they look good.

THIS SHOW PROMOTES THAT! I SAY WE SHOULD ALL SWITCH OFF OUR TVs WHEN ITS ON TO PROTEST!!!
