the war on drugs is bad now, on the long run, druggies make the economy WORSE. we dont need no drug dealers here.

organized crime rate goes higher. ever thought of drug deals gone wrong? drive bys for drugs? heist for drugs? stealing money to fund druggies' habits? when people are desperate, they do things, anything to be precise.

alcohol in an average consumption WILL NOT lead to withdrawal symptoms. drugs however, lead to withdrawal symptoms. druggies will have imparied thinking.

reliance on alcohol is alcoholism, it takes much. reliance on drugs would be even the craving to cause major problems.

Please look again how many instances the word 'America(n)' appear in your post, or the word 'LA', or 'Deputy Barney' (who is this), 'Bill of rights' , and 'Alcohol Prohibition'.

All those are very American-oriented words, and I scan 2 minutes no need to read all or digest it, already know it doesnt apply thousands of miles away to an Asian society here in Singapore.

Exactly we don't need drug dealers which is why we need to legalise drugs. The reason why there are secret drug deals, heists for drugs, stealing money for druggies habits are because drugs are illegal, you're supporting my point.

Drugs in an average consumption WILL NOT lead to withdrawal symptoms. Many alcoholics have impaired thinking. Reliance on alcohol is just as bad as reliance on drugs.

If drugs were legal there wouldn't be organised crime because the criminals would go bankrupt as they're unable to compete with the pharmacies selling drugs. If drugs were legal they would be very cheap because of mass production so people wouldn't blow all their money on it or resort to stealing to fund their habit.

Nope, drug lords wouldn't be able to compete with the low prices of pharmacies because of the mass production by big companies. And not more people will take drugs because anyone who wants to do drugs currently can easily access it. It being illegal doesn't inhibit anyone from doing it.

if u fail to realise that laws are made to prevent people from abusing them, yet people do. if a law is made that people are not to cause harm to others, why do people cause harm? therefore, law enforcers are here.

reliance is physical. the body would rely on more dopamine to allow pleasure/enjoyment to flow through the body. ever heard of marginal rate of satisfaction? the gradual increase in need for dopamine in the brain due to pleasure seeking makes the reliance, not mentioning the additives in the drugs.(e.g cig=nicotine=reliance ingredient)

Exactly the reason why we need to legalise it. So drug addicts can seek help without fear of prosecution. I think you're the one being naive. It seems like you think that everyone who does drugs instantly becomes an addict.

Yes laws are made to prevent people from abusing them but the question is how effective is it? The answer is not effective at all. That's what you fail to realise and legalising drugs won't change that but it has other benefits.

Another thing is that not every single person who does drugs becomes reliant on them. It's the same with alcohol and cigarettes and if those two are legal I don't see why drugs shouldn't be.
